Learning to Swim – 14K Gold Plated Sterling Silver Ring

A sculptural ring handcrafted from solid 925 sterling silver and set with a single deep navy blue zircon.

The small zircon appears as a concentrated point of color within the hand-formed structure. Irregular lines, textured surfaces, and open spaces create a sense of movement around the stone, while the deep blue provides a quiet contrast against the warm gold surface.

Finished with a soft, warm layer of 14K gold, the ring brings depth to the contours and textures of the organic sculptural form.

Every ring is individually formed, stone-set, finished, and polished by hand in our Istanbul workshop.

The Story - Learning to Swim

Learning to swim begins with uncertainty.

Movement that initially feels unfamiliar gradually becomes instinctive - not by controlling every motion, but by learning how to move with what surrounds us.

The irregular structure of this ring developed through the making process rather than from a perfectly predetermined form. A small navy blue zircon sits within the shifting structure as a concentrated point of color, surrounded by the movement of the hand-formed metal.

Learning to Swim is about finding your way through something unfamiliar - gradually discovering balance, movement, and confidence without knowing exactly where each motion will take you.

Each ring is individually formed, stone-set, finished, and polished by hand rather than mass-produced.

The irregularities and textures visible throughout the surface are intentional traces of the making process. Because each piece is shaped individually, subtle variations in form, texture, and stone placement may occur, making every ring slightly unique.

Ring Size

Your ring will be handcrafted according to the size you select.

We use US ring sizing. Please refer to the size chart included in the product images. For the most accurate fit, we recommend having your finger professionally measured by a local jeweler before ordering.

Care

To help preserve the gold-plated finish, avoid direct contact with perfume, alcohol, chlorine, detergents, and other chemicals. After exposure to moisture, gently dry the ring with a soft cloth and store it in its box when not being worn.

As with all plated jewelry, the finish may gradually change over time depending on wear, skin chemistry, moisture, and chemical exposure.

Your ring is carefully inspected and packaged in our Istanbul workshop before shipping and is ready for gifting.
